These projects involved sourcing, set building and customising props for advertising campaigns and editorial shoots. Following briefs to create and explore exciting options and solutions, that resulted in iconic campaigns being created.
It’s always a thrill for me to work on exciting briefs. The Olympus Built Tough involved setting up a living room to look like it had been destroyed by a large Mastiff puppy. The props were aged and distressed to create a playful, dishevelled look. A Dremel, sandpaper and copious amounts of elbow grease were used to achieve the desired ‘chewed-up’ look. The rug, sofa and homewares used on this campaign were chosen for their textural qualities and to enhance the dog’s emotive, characterful face. Naturally, the iconic Olympus camera is the hero of the shot.
